Wow can kids scare you

Bailey scared me half to death today. She was laying in her bassinet and I heard choking sounds and then shrieking as a fountain of spit up flew up past the side of the bassinet. So after I got her to calm down and clean all of the spit up off of her face we cuddled for a very very long time. Being a new parent is scarey. Sometimes I have to jump up every 5 mins just to make sure that she is breathing. I guess thats a fairly common thought but the idea of sids is so bone shatteringly terrifing. Ughhh. I guess I'll just be worried about her for the rest of my life so i should just get used to it.
